The substantive date for 8th edition of the Mau-Egerton University Cross Country is Saturday, 5th February 2022. The event will be held at Egerton University Sports Ground Njoro Campus. Participants are invited to take part in various race categories and there will be over Ksh. 2 million in prizes to be won. Registration for students is Ksh. 100, Ksh. 300 for staff and community, corporate Ksh. 10,000 per team. The objectives of the cross country are to:
