DESCRIPTION:<p data-uw-styling-context="true">The substantive date for 8th edition of the Mau-Egerton University Cross Country is Saturday, 5th February 2022. The event will be held at Egerton University Sports Ground Njoro Campus.</p>
<p data-uw-styling-context="true">Participants are invited to take part in various race categories and there will be over Ksh. 2 million in prizes to be won. Registration for students is Ksh. 100, Ksh. 300 for staff and community, corporate Ksh. 10,000 per team.</p>
<p data-uw-styling-context="true">The objectives of the cross country are to:</p>

<li data-uw-styling-context="true">Create environmental awareness.</li>
<li data-uw-styling-context="true">Raise funds for rehabilitation of Mau Ecosystem and Njoro River.</li>
