Prof. Theophilus M. Mutui takes over as Managing Director at KEPHIS

Egerton University wish to bring to your attention that in December 2020, Prof. Theophilus Mwendwa Mutui took over as the managing director of the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS).

Egerton University wish to bring to your attention that in December 2020, Prof. Theophilus Mwendwa Mutui took over as the managing director of the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS).

Prof. Mutui graduated from Egerton University in 1992 with a BSC in Horticulture (1st Class Honours). He also holds a PhD in Horticultural Science from the Liebniz University of Hannover, Germany. His field of specialisation is plant biotechnology and post-harvest physiology of horticultural crops.

Previously, he has worked at the University of Eldoret, Moi University and the Ministry of Agriculture in Kenya.
